A central Toledo woman was flown to the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor after she was hurt during an assault, police said yesterday.

Dorthea Williams, 32, of Rosalind Place, was in fair condition at the hospital after she was flown there from St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, authorities said.

According to a police report, she was assaulted about 3 a.m. Monday by four or five black females at Rosalind and Fulton Street.

Her boyfriend took her to St. Vincent's for treatment, the report indicated.

She was then taken by medical helicopter to the University of Michigan Hospital, where security contacted Toledo police early yesterday.
