Robber takes cash from store near Clyde

CLYDE, Ohio Sandusky Coun ty sheriff s deputies are investigating a robbery Tuesday at the Southridge Market in York Township.

Deputies said a man entered the store at U.S. 20 and County Road 175 about 10:30 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk. No weapon was seen. The robber, who took an undisclosed amount of cash, drove off in an older-model gray car.

He was described as white, in his 40s, about 5-feet, 10-inches tall, and weighing about 200 pounds. He had a handkerchief over the lower half of his face.
