FREMONT - A Bellevue, Ohio, man has been arraigned on an indictment charging him with the robbery of a Bellevue drug store.

Elijiah Wiswell, 23, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of robbery and theft of drugs during an appearance in Sandusky County Common Pleas Court. His bond was continued at $40,000.

Mr. Wiswell was charged by Bellevue police with entering the Medicine Shop pharmacy on West Main Street on Aug. 24 and claiming he had a bomb strapped to him. Authorities said he demanded OxyContin from a clerk and escaped with several bottles of the powerful painkiller.
