11/9/2005

The arraignment of a Sylvania man indicted for the stabbing death of his wife was continued yesterday to allow him time to hire an attorney.

Lucas County Common Pleas Court Judge Frederick McDonald ordered Danny Anaya, 54, held in the county jail in lieu of $5 million bond. The arraignment was continued to Tuesday.

Mr. Anaya is charged with one count of aggravated murder in the death of his wife, Rhonda, 42, whose body was found Oct. 25 in their home at 8034 Littlefield Ct.

The county coroner said Ms. Anaya died from multiple stab wounds to the neck and chest.
