Archbold man indicted for stealing from K of C

ARCHBOLD, Ohio A 26-year-old Archbold man is accused of stealing about $2,400 from the Knights of Columbus chapter by forging blank checks that he took from his grandfather, the organization s treasurer.

Michael R. Moser was indicted by a Fulton County grand jury this week on 10 counts of forgery.

Archbold Assistant Police Chief Thom Ross said Mr. Moser allegedly took the checks from the residence of his grandfather this month and last, wrote them to himself, and spent the money on food, gasoline, and cigarettes.

He was being held in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, Stryker.
