Two men were arraigned yesterday, accused of entering two Toledo schools and breaking into a vending machine at one of the buildings.

But their arrests clear up similar crimes at seven schools in Toledo since mid-March and at other schools in the Washington Local, Maumee, and Sylvania school districts, police said.

Aaron Eschmann, 37, of 6955 Dorr St., No. 1, and Thomas Keefe, 32, of 3601 Hill Ave., No. 213, were charged with two counts of breaking and entering. Mr. Eschmann also was charged with possession of criminal tools and numerous traffic offenses. They were ordered held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $15,000 and $10,000 bonds, respectively.

The men were arrested Friday in the area of Cherry Street and Central Avenue after they entered Start High School, 2100 Tremainsville Rd., and Central Catholic High School, 2550 Cherry, police said.
