BOWLING GREEN A Perrysburg Township woman accused of putting medicine into a half-gallon of milk, then claiming it was tainted, pleaded not guilty yesterday in Wood County Common Pleas Court.

Stephanie Wood, 25, of 9564 Mandell Rd., was indicted last month by a Wood County grand jury on one count of making false alarms.

Judge Reeve Kelsey scheduled a pretrial hearing for June 26.

Ms. Wood called police about 3:30 a.m. March 13 and said she found a container of prescription medicine in a half-gallon of chocolate milk she bought at the Kroger store on Carronade Drive. Upon investigation, police said they found the same medicine, prescribed to her, in her apartment.
