Suspect s identity sought in Hancock Co. robbery

FINDLAY Hancock County law enforcement officials are asking for help in identifying a man who robbed at gunpoint a woman as she pulled into her driveway on Township Road 215 last week.

The victim had been at a bank in Findlay and drove back to her home on Township Road. When she pulled into her driveway at about 3:15 p.m., a vehicle pulled in behind her and the suspect approached her in the driveway.

He tried to grab the victim s purse. When she resisted, he pointed a handgun and threatened her. She let go of the purse.

The suspect was described as a white male in his 20s, between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing between 180 to 220 pounds. The suspect, who was wearing glasses and was dressed in dark clothing, drove off in a dark sedan.
