Police investigate rash of anarchy symbols

7/28/2006

Perrysburg police are investigating more than 20 recent vandalism incidents in the western part of the Wood County city.

On at least two recent nights, people suspected to be teenagers spray-painted the circled letter A, a symbol for anarchy, on sidewalks, cars, signs, and other objects in the Kettle Run, Crandenbrook, and Rivercrest subdivisions.

Police said they do not think the activity is gang-related.
