BOWLING GREEN - A Bowling Green High School student who allegedly threatened three students with a knife at a football game Friday night faces possible criminal charges as well as expulsion from school.

Police said officers working the Bowling Green-Otsego football game were alerted by BGHS Principal Jeff Dever just before 11 p.m. that a student had displayed a knife and threatened three students with it at the game. Officers tracked down the 15-year-old boy outside his home and found the knife on his person.

Deputy Chief Brad Conner said the youth was released to his mother and the case has been turned over to the juvenile prosecutor's office for charges. Mr. Dever said the boy would be suspended and he would recommend expulsion, according to police reports.
