A Lucas County grand jury has indicted a 21-year-old Toledo man on charges of firing a gun into a home in the city s north end and injuring a 12-year-old girl and a woman during a birthday celebration.

Mychal Keahey, of 1224 North Huron St., was indicted Tuesday on three counts of felonious assault and one count of improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation.

He was being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $120,000 bond.

The indictment stems from a Sept. 23 shooting at 525 East Weber St. in which Tamara Mills, 24, was wounded in the left thigh and the girl was grazed by a bullet on her left shin. They were treated at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Police believe Mr. Keahey fired into the home because he was jealous of a man who was there for a boy s birthday party.
