Reward offered in triple slaying

12/2/2006

The city of Toledo is offering a $5,000 reward for information in a triple homicide in October in which three men were found dead in a boarded-up house in North Toledo.

Mayor Carty Finkbeiner announced the reward yesterday in the Oct. 24 case. Todd Archambeau, 44; his brother-in-law, Kenneth Nicholson, 41, and Michael York, 44, were found slain that day in Archambeau's home at 410 Ohio St.

About 4:35 a.m. the day the men were found, a witness called police to report shots fired at the house about 20 minutes earlier. He told police he saw two males running from the house.

After the initial investigation, police believe they are working on solid leads in the case and hope the reward will persuade people with knowledge about what happened to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Toledo Crime Stopper program at 419-255-1111 or Detectives Larry Anderson and Dan Navarre at 419-245-3142.
