Two men with a shotgun robbed two South Toledo convenience stores early yesterday and Wednesday night, and police believe the holdups are connected.

Two men, one wearing a mask over his mouth, robbed the Circle K, 1235 North Holland-Sylvania Rd., about 5:30 a.m. yesterday. One entered the store with a shotgun and demanded money, while the other stood at the door as a lookout. They then ran south on Holland-Sylvania, police said.

About six hours earlier, two masked men entered the Stop & Go, 1806 Arlington Ave., and robbed it of money. One of the men went to the register and demanded money, while the other stood in the doorway during the holdup about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The robber with the shotgun demanded money from another register at another location in the store. The men then ran east on Arlington, police said.
