A South Toledo man charged in three south end holdups was ordered held in the Lucas County jail on $75,000 bond after his arraignment yesterday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Ricky Dale Hennessey, 40, of 214 Gibbons St., was charged with three counts of aggravated robbery. He is accused of robbing at knifepoint the Family Dollar, 1703 Airport Hwy.; Kahler Pharmacy, 1941 Airport, and Sunoco, 324 South Detroit Ave., on Tuesday, police said.

He was being held in the jail last night. He was arrested without incident when police saw him at South Detroit and Shasta Drive on Tuesday night.

In an unrelated heist, a West Toledo fast-food restaurant was robbed of cash early yesterday after it had closed.

A man entered the Burger King, 4010 Monroe St., about 1:05 a.m. with a handgun and forced an employee to the office, where he made her lie on the ground.

The manager was then ordered to open the safe, and the robber took cash and fled, police said.
