Toledo police sergeant and second driver injured when their vehicles collide

A Toledo police sergeant and a city resident were injured last night when their vehicles crashed at the intersection of Dorr Street and Detroit Avenue.

Sgt. Paul Tetuan was traveling northbound on Detroit and Toni Martinez was westbound on Dorr when the accident occured.

Her vehicle collided with the sergeant s patrol car in the intersection at about 11:05 p.m. Police said both were drivers were seriously injured and were transported to Toledo Hospital.

The accident remains under investigation.
