A Toledo man accused of giving false information in an Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles investigation into a driver s license application has been indicted by a Lucas County grand jury.

Michael D. Tersigni, 47, of 2943 Kenwood Blvd. is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 12 in Lucas County Common Pleas Court. He is charged with tampering with evidence.

The indictment, which was handed up Wednesday by the grand jury, stems from an investigation into a complaint that Mr. Tersigni filed in October with the BMV. In the complaint, he claimed that someone fraudulently used his address on Kenwood to obtain an Ohio driver s license.

Investigators said they learned the person in question did live at the address when the application for the license was made and that Mr. Tersigni intentionally provided information to the state agency that he knew wasn t true.

Mr. Tersigni is the owner of child day-care centers, Toddlers School, which operate at seven locations in the Toledo area.
