Kitchen fire destroys mobile home in Ottawa

OTTAWA, Ohio A kitchen fire yesterday destroyed a mobile home here, authorities said.

The fire started about 8 p.m. at 615 West Main St. The home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, Ottawa Fire Chief Ron Brinkman said. The home was a total loss, the chief said.

Firefighters with the Ottawa and Glandorf departments kept flames from reaching neighboring homes in the park which has about a dozen units, Chief Brinkman said.
