Sylvania Township firefighters spent more than 14 hours, beginning Friday night, extinguishing a fire at a warehouse on North King Road.
Thirty firefighters battled the blaze at 3618 North King, north of West Central Avenue, beginning at about 10:20 p.m.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury when he was struck in the face by a hose nozzle, said Sylvania Township fire department Lieutenant Chris Nye.
The structure was engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
The fire was finally extinguished at about 1 p.m. yesterday.
Decoline Ltd. and Ohio Chain Company LLC. were housed in the building. The cause is under investigation.
It was a very stubborn, deep-seated fire, Lieutenant Nye said. They had Formica stacked on pallets very close together.
