A 12-year-old girl who police thought may have left home to meet a person she met on the Internet was found safe today in Lima.

Toledo police said they learned about 1:30 p.m. from Lima police that Danisha L. Macklin of 1154 Pinebrook Pkwy. had been located. They believe a male found with her may be the same man who was in a vehicle that she was last seen entering.

Danisha had been missing since Friday morning. The student at Reynolds Elementary School was reported missing by her mother at 11:30 p.m. Friday, police said.

Police gathered information from a home computer the girl was using. Their investigation into what happened to her during the weekend is continuing.
