Toledo man is arrested in Springfield robbery

A Toledo man was arrested yesterday after being accused of robbing a Springfield Township carryout earlier this month, according to the Lucas County Sheriff s Office.

William Cable, 19, of Brookview Drive is charged with aggravated robbery for the holdup about 9:45 p.m. April 14 at Chablis Quick Stop, 1801 North McCord Rd.

Two men with handguns and wearing bandannas on their faces robbed the store of $200 and cell phones, sheriff s Detective Mark Woodruff said.

The other robber has not been charged.

At the time of his arrest, Mr. Cable was out on bond after he was indicted on two counts of receiving stolen property with firearms specifications in a case in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.
