FINDLAY - Four people were arrested here after Findlay police responded to a burglary in the 300 block of West Lincoln Street early Saturday.

Martez E. Herbert, 18, and Davaughan T. Smith, 18, both from Detroit, David W. Eblin II, 19, from Ottawa, Ohio, and a 17-year-old juvenile were arrested after the burglary at 301 West Lincoln about 7:35 a.m., police said.

Officers responded to the home on a burglary report.

The resident said the suspects forced their way into his home brandishing handguns and a knife and demanded money.

The burglars restrained the resident and took various items of property.

Police went to another residence in the area after interviewing a witness, and, while interviewing the occupant, saw some of the items taken in the West Lincoln burglary, authorities said.

Police made the arrests at that residence and recovered additional property believed taken in the West Lincoln burglary.

Mr. Herbert, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Eblin were taken to the Hancock County Justice Center on aggravated burglary and kidnapping charges while the 17-year-old juvenile was taken to the Wood County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.
