Holland woman in serious condition after hit-and-run in Springfield Township

A Holland woman was taken to Toledo Hospital in critical condition last night after apparently being hit by a vehicle on Angola Road west of South McCord Road in Springfield Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Linda Husen, 52, the victim, was listed in serious condition at the hospital this morning, a nursing supervisor said.

Ms. Husen was lying on the northern side of the road at 7006 Angola about 10:45 p.m. when a motorist, who was driving by, spotted her, troopers at the patrol s Toledo post said.

The driver of the vehicle that hit her was still at large this morning, they said.
