Fire destroys vacant duplex in central Toledo

A fire of yet unreported origin destroyed a vacant duplex on Bluff Street near Ottawa Drive in central Toledo, authorities said.

Fire crews arrived about 8:33 a.m. at the two-story building at 3557 Bluff St. and observed flames at multiple locations.

By the time firefighters had the blaze under control about 9:20 a.m., the building was a total loss, firefighters said.

The dollar figure of the damage estimate was not available.
