PORT CLINTON - An Ottawa County jail inmate who jumped from a second-floor catwalk down to the first floor during jail recreation time yesterday afternoon was being treated in Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton last night.

Robin Masing, 52, of rural Port Clinton was conscious but did not give a reason for jumping, sheriff's deputies said.

Mr. Masing was booked into jail last week and held in lieu of $20,000 bond on three counts of violating a temporary protection order, failure to appear, and domestic violence.
