A South Toledo man accused of stabbing another man multiple times, seriously injuring him, was indicted yesterday by a Lucas County grand jury.

Timothy Oakley, 40, of 260 Field Ave. was charged with one count of felonious assault. He is accused of stabbing Gerald Hoffman, 41, of Linden Place in the back and abdomen with a knife about 3:10 a.m. June 5 at an address on North Michigan Street.

According to a witness, the victim came to the location to help her board up a door that Mr. Oakley, her ex-boyfriend, had kicked in. Mr. Oakley came to pick up clothing and began stabbing the victim, who had one wound each in the chest and stomach and two in the back, police said.
