Prostitution sweep results in 16 arrests

Sixteen adults were arrested yesterday on various prostitution and drug-related charges during a prostitution sweep in Toledo.

Numerous arrest warrants also were served as a result of the sweep, which began about 6 a.m. and was conducted by vice officers and the central district station s Weed and Seed officers.

Police targeted the Lagrange Street area, East Toledo, and the old south end.
