The U.S. Marshals Service is looking for a 35-year-old Toledo man convicted of bank robbery who escaped from a halfway house Sunday.

James Lee Adams, then of Cherry Street, was convicted in 2001 in U.S. District Court for the robbery Dec. 20, 2000, of the KeyBank, 3031 Collingwood Blvd.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Hodge said Adams was completing an 84-month sentence when he left the halfway house and never returned.

He was scheduled to complete his sentence in August, Mr. Hodge said.

He added that Adams, who is believed to still be in Toledo, has a history of assault and drug abuse.
