The Toledo man charged with reckless homicide in the death of a woman found hurt in a north-end bar parking lot Wednesday morning was driving the car from which she was thrown, court records state.

Charles Foulkes, 27, of 3388 Otto St. was arrested at his home Wednesday and was being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of a $250,000 bond.

Krystal Gould, 30, of 101 Warrington Rd. died in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center about an hour after she was found bleeding in the parking lot of Zinger's Food and Spirits, 920 Matzinger Rd., about 3:30 a.m. by a bartender leaving work, police said.

Ms. Gould was on the hood of a 1979 Cadillac Coupe DeVille driven by Foulkes, when she was thrown from the vehicle, records state.

Preliminary results of an autopsy Wednesday indicate Ms. Gould died of head trauma, Dr. Diane Barnett, a Lucas County deputy coroner, said.

Ms. Gould and several co-workers went to the bar about 1:30 a.m. after leaving their jobs at Ohio Module Manufacturing Co. LLC, a subsidiary of Hyundai Mobis of South Korea, down the street from Zinger's, Toledo police Capt. Ray Carroll said.

They had a few drinks and left as a group when the bar closed at 2:30 a.m. When police arrived, they found Ms. Gould unresponsive with trauma "consistent with striking the pavement," Captain Carroll said.
