Toledo man shot at barber shop

A Toledo man was shot in the leg yesterday at a barber shop where he used to work, authorities said.

Keith Pressley, who authorities said was shot in the upper left thigh, was listed in fair condition last night at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Mr. Pressley was at Kim & L Kuttin Up, 12 East Bancroft St., about 2:10 p.m. when an argument ensued between him and Kim Pattin, 39, one of the shop s owners, police said.

Mr. Pressley walked to a nearby fire station for help after the shooting and from there was taken to the hospital, authorities said.

Ms. Pattin, of 4515 West Bancroft, Unit 7, has been charged with felonious assault for firing at least one round from a 22-caliber handgun that struck Mr. Pressley. She was being held in the Lucas County jail pending arraignment in Toledo Municipal Court.
