FOSTORIA - Police are investigating an early morning robbery at the Chicken Coupe tavern on East Lytle Street.

Police said two men with bandannas and sweatshirts covering their faces entered the business about 12:20 a.m. yesterday with what appeared to be a pellet gun and took $300 from the cash register and a patron's wallet.

The Seneca County Sheriff's Office also is investigating a hold-up at the South Side Drive Thru and Laundromat just outside Fostoria that occurred about 9 p.m. Monday.

Two armed men ordered employees to the floor and then stole an unknown amount of money from the cash register.
