An arrest warrant was issued Monday for a central Toledo man who authorities said stabbed his half brother twice in the back during an argument.

Tyrell Searcy, 42, of 27 Rosalind Pl., was charged with felonious assault. He is accused of stabbing Kameron Jennings, 29, of 27 Rosalind Pl., about 6:45 p.m. Monday.

Jennings told police Mr. Searcy threw a beer bottle in his face. When he turned away to wipe his face, he was stabbed with a sharp instrument.

Jennings swung a stick at Mr. Searcy to defend himself and was stabbed a second time. Mr. Searcy then fled, police said.

Jennings was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where a nursing supervisor said there was no patient by that name. Police said the wounds did not appear to be life- threatening.
