South Toledo apartment fire leaves several homeless

Several people were homeless yesterday after a fire damaged a South Toledo apartment complex, authorities said.

No injuries were reported.

The fire at the Oak Hill Apartments in the 2400 block of South Holland-Sylvania Road was reported at 12:58 a.m. yesterday.

Additional fire crews were dispatched about 25 minutes later. Firefighters had the blaze under control by 1:36 a.m., a Toledo fire dispatcher said.

The fire damaged several apartments. The cause of the fire and a damage estimate were not available yesterday.
