North Toledo man critical after late night shooting

North Toledo man is in critical condition after he was found shot in the chest just before midnight Monday in the 4700 block of Vallejo Drive, police said.

Anthony Banks, of 3404 Jeanette Ave. was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, police said.

Mr. Banks was shot when an unknown suspect fired several rounds at a group of people near Vallejo and Catalina drives in South Toledo, police said.
