BOWLING GREEN A Dayton man was arrested early Sunday in connection with a trio of Dumpster fires.

Kyle Lauterhahn. 22, was charged with complicity to arson after fires were set in trash Dumpsters between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. in the 800 block of Fourth Street, the 200 block of Manville Avenue, and the 700 block of High Street.

According to Bowling Green police reports, Mr. Lauterhahn was stopped after an officer saw him running through an apartment parking lot about 3 a.m. Police said he was carrying a camera that contained images of a fire. He reportedly told officers he was the lookout and photographer for two friends who set the fires.

Lt. Tony Hetrick said charges are pending against two other suspects. He said detectives are looking into whether the men might be responsible for 24 fires set in commercial Dumpsters at east-side apartment complexes in May and June.
