Toledo police are requesting information through the Crime Stopper program on the identity of a man who robbed a Champion Credit Union branch in West Toledo Wednesday, authorities said.

The man, believed to be in his 40s or 50s, walked into the bank at 4140 West Laskey Rd. about 12:15 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money, authorities said.

He left the office, got into a 2006 gray or silver Dodge Ram 1500, and fled with an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.

The robber was described as white, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighing 175 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, a black leather coat, hiking boots, and a white baseball cap, authorities said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program.
