A man accused of holding a knife to the throat of a Speedway gas station employee and robbing the store of an undisclosed amount of money was arraigned yesterday in Toledo Municipal Court.

Robert Fligor, 39, of 1914 Eleanor Ave. was charged with aggravated robbery. He was being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

Fligor walked into the gas station, 1822 West Laskey Rd., about 11 p.m. Sunday and went into the restroom. He walked out with a coat covering his face and approached the employee at the cash register with a knife in his right hand, police said.

The robber demanded money, but the clerk didn't take the threat seriously; he then walked around the counter, placed the knife on the man's throat, and again demanded money.

The clerk gave Fligor an undisclosed amount of cash, and he left the store and fled on a bicycle, police said. A witness followed Fligor to 2171 Mellwood Ave., where he was later arrested, police said.
