Copper coils stolen from North Toledo restaurant roof

Copper coils valued at $20,000 were stolen from heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units on the roof of the former Jed s North restaurant, 35 East Alexis Rd., authorities said.

Stanley Ostas, the building s owner, told police that sometime between April 14 and Thursday, someone climbed atop the closed business and stole the coils from three units.

The business has been closed since last summer.
