Toledo bank robbery suspect held on $100,000 bond

A man accused of robbing the Charter One Bank in downtown Toledo Monday was arraigned Wednesday morning in Toledo Municipal Court, authorities said.

Jason Marcinkowski, 29, of 702 North Erie St., was charged with robbery. He is being held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

A man entered the bank, 337 North Huron St., about 10 a.m. Monday and handed a teller a note demanding money. No gun was seen and the man fled after obtaining the cash, authorities said.

A Toledo man was arrested on a bank robbery charge yesterday, a day after the Charter One Bank in downtown Toledo was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.

Jasin James Marcinkowski, 29, of 702 North Erie St., which is about four blocks from the bank, was being held last night in the Lucas County jail without bond pending arraignment today in Toledo Municipal Court. He was arrested about 1:45 p.m. yesterday at Cherry and Bancroft streets, authorities said.
