Fire destroys a Springfield Township mobile home

A fire of a yet unknown origin destroyed a vacant mobile home early Tuesday in the Woodside Terrace mobile home park at 7717 Angola Rd. in Springfield Township, authorities said.

There were no injuries.

The mobile home at 360 West Appletree Terrace was fully engulfed in flames when area fire crews arrived about 6:15 a.m., according to the Lucas County Sheriff s Office.

Firefighters had the blaze under control in about 30 minutes, by which time the structure was a complete loss, deputies said.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
