Two men were shot early Monday at a South Toledo house, where Toledo police found weapons and a significant amount of cash, authorities said.

Willie Bailey, 56, was struck on the left side of the face with gunfire. He was taken to University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly Medical College of Ohio Hospital. A condition was not immediately available Monday morning.

The other victim, Daryll Alexander, 26, was shot in the arm. He was taken to Toledo Hospital, where a nursing supervisor said she had no information on a patient by that name.

The shooting occurred about 1 a.m. at 2336 South Ave., officers said.

It was unclear whether the men shot each other or whether someone else shot them and fled, Sgt. Todd Miller said.

As of about 6 a.m. Monday, there were no arrests in the case, Sergeant Miller said.
