A Jackson, Miss., man was sentenced yesterday to two years in prison for his role in what authorities called Toledo s largest seizure of Ecstasy.

Lucas County Common Pleas Court Judge Frederick McDonald sentenced Mario Jones, 26, after he pleaded guilty April 29 to aggravated trafficking in drugs.

As part of the plea, a second charge of aggravated possession of drugs as well as the specification that the defendant was a major drug offender were dismissed.

Authorities arrested Jones Jan. 31 at the Greyhound Bus Station downtown. They said the Ecstasy pills were being taken to Jackson.
