Bowling Green jail escapee caught; 2nd inmate still missing

BOWLING GREEN An East Toledo man who was one of two inmates who separately escaped the Northwest Community Corrections Center was found Saturday night in Findlay.

John Gebrosky, Jr., 21, of 953 Clark St., was spotted on Lincoln Street, near Main Street, about 9 p.m., Findlay police said.

The man told officers he had walked to Findlay, more than 20 miles from the regional jail in southeastern Bowling Green.

He was charged with escape and booked into the Wood County jail. He is accused of jumping a fence at the jail, where he was being held for nonviolent offenses.

Also Saturday, Kyle Ridgway, 20, of Montpelier, Ohio, failed to return to work at the landfill near U.S. 6 after lunch. He was wearing gray jeans, a tank top and gray shirt, and brown boots.
