Police need tips to solve East Toledo Huntington bank holdup

Toledo police are seeking information through Crime Stopper about a robbery June 7 at a Huntington Bank branch in East Toledo.

The man walked into the bank at 504 Starr Ave. about 10:15 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash, authorities said.

The teller gave the man about $1,000. He then walked out and headed south on Main Street, authorities said. The robber was described as white, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and weighing 150 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap, and a white scarf and had a goatee, authorities said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
