Officers will conduct sobriety checkpoint in Springfield Township
7/25/2008The Lucas County Sheriff s Office will participate in a sobriety checkpoint Friday and Saturday in Springfield Township, looking for motorists driving under the influence and violations of speed, seat belt, and other traffic laws, sheriffs deputies said.
The sheriff s office, Lucas County DUI Task Force, Ohio Highway Patrol, Toledo Metroparks, Holland police, and Ohio Department of Public Safety will conduct the sobriety checkpoint from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday at South McCord Road and Hall Street, deputies said.
