Ohio couple accused of running sex ring in West Virginia
9/5/2008HUNTINGTON, W.Va. Two Ohioans are charged with transporting women to West Virginia to peddle them as underage prostitutes.
FBI agents arrested 65-year-old William Green and 34-year-old Bridgette Baugh of Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday.
An FBI affidavit says seven women between the ages of 18 and 35 were told to act like they were 14 or 15 because the men they were meeting were expecting young girls.
The affidavit says a Columbus undercover office gave Baugh $200 to have sex with one of the women at a Huntington, W.Va., hotel. Green and Baugh were then arrested.
The suspects are scheduled to be arraigned next Tuesday in federal court in Huntington.
