1 man arrested in stabbing cases

CLYDE, Ohio — Police have arrested one man and are looking for another in connection with an incident in which two men were stabbed early Friday.

Brandon McPherson, 27, was found by police about 1:55 a.m. on West Maple Street, suffering from multiple wounds to the upper body.

Police then found Timothy Rich, 33, lying in the boulevard in the 400 block of North Main Street, also with multiple stab wounds to the upper body.

Mr. McPherson was taken by ambulance to Bellevue Hospital and later flown to University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital.

A hospital spokesman said no information was available about a person by that name.

Mr. Rich was also initially taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

He was later flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition Friday night.

Donald A. Young, 25 of the Vickery area has been charged with complicity to commit felonious assault and is in the Sandusky County jail.

An arrest warrant has been issued for James Guy, 26, from the Clyde area.

He has been charged with two counts of assault.
