Clyde police investigate stabbings of two men

CLYDE, Ohio — Clyde police are seeking information in two incidents in which two man were stabbed, apparently early Friday.
Brandon McPherson, 27, was found by police about 1:55 a.m. on the street in an unspecified block of West Maple Street, suffering from multiple wounds to the upper body. A short time later, police found Timothy Rich, 33, lying in the boulevard in the 400 block of North Main Street, also with multiple stab wounds to the upper body, police said.
Mr. McPherson was taken by ambulance to Bellevue Hospital and later flown to University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio. A hospital spokesman said no information was available about a person by that name.
Mr. Rich was also initially taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was later flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, where a hospital spokesman said no information was available about a person by that name.
Police did not say whether the incidents were related. The incidents remained under investigation, police said.
