Tips sought on armed robberies

Toledo police are seeking information through Crime Stopper about armed robberies — possibly connected — of several businesses in Toledo and Sylvania Township by two men in hooded jackets.

Police said three robberies occurred in the past two weeks in which two men armed with a gun robbed businesses of cash from drawers.

Robbed were Speedway, 2502 West Alexis Rd. in Toledo, on Feb. 15; Cottage Inn Pizza, 240 West Alexis Rd., also in Toledo, on Feb. 18, and True North Shell, 5473 Monroe St. in Sylvania Township, on Feb. 19.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call Crime Stopper. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
