LIBERTY CENTER, Ohio — A Liberty Center area woman was killed early Sunday when the van she was driving spun out of control on snow-covered U.S. 24 into the path of a tractor-trailer, the Henry County Sheriff's Department said.

Nancy Stork, 50, who lived near Colton in Washington Township, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was driving east on U.S. 24 near County Road 10 about 12:30 a.m. when her van apparently slid into the westbound lane of the highway. The van was struck on the passenger side by a tractor-trailer driven by Michael Fleming, of Frankston, Texas.

He and his passenger, Melissa Luginbuhl, 37, of 27100 Oakmead Dr., Perrysburg Township, were not hurt. Ms. Stork was not wearing a seat belt.
