A fire of a yet unknown origin damaged a house Tuesday morning on the city’s east side, authorities said.
A single-family house at 1420 Albert St. was occupied when fire crews were dispatched to the fire at 7:08 a.m., according to the Toledo fire department.
By the time crews arrived, the occupants had escaped unhurt. Firefighters had the blaze under control within several minutes, a fire dispatcher said.
The Lucas County Auditor’s Web site lists Robert Martin as the owner of the two-story wood frame house, which was built in 1925.
The cause of the fire was under investigation. The damage estimate was unavailable.
